Green Hydrogen
Green hydrogen as the key feedstock for Power-to-Liquid processes – produced by electrolysis with renewable power.
- SAF synthesis
- Fischer-Tropsch Power-to-Liquid
- Methanol-to-Jet

Green hydrogen, methanol and ammonia as feedstocks for Power-to-Liquid, Methanol-to-Jet and the decarbonisation of aviation.

Green hydrogen as the key feedstock for Power-to-Liquid processes – produced by electrolysis with renewable power.
Power-to-X methanol as a direct precursor for Methanol-to-Jet processes – liquid and easy to transport.
Green ammonia as a hydrogen carrier for international supply chains – cracked to green H₂ at destination.
Renewable power splits water into green hydrogen.
H₂ and CO₂ are converted into methanol or syngas.
Methanol-to-Jet or Fischer-Tropsch yields jet fuel components.
SAF is blended with fossil jet fuel.
| Energy carrier | Formula | Boiling point | Transport & storage | Typical role |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Green hydrogen | H₂ | −253 °C | compressed or cryogenic liquid | Process gas, fuel cell, synthesis feedstock |
| Green ammonia | NH₃ | −33 °C | liquid under pressure or refrigerated | Fertiliser, marine fuel, H₂ carrier |
| Green methanol | CH₃OH | 65 °C | liquid at ambient conditions | Fuel, chemical building block, eFuel precursor |

We support your eFuel and SAF projects with volumes, logistics and evidence – from pilot to ramp-up.
Feedstocks for Power-to-Liquid and Methanol-to-Jet.
Origin documentation per delivery where available from the producer.
From spot volumes for pilot plants to contract volumes.
Part of the PENPET Group, trading chemicals since 1992 – with its own logistics in Hamburg.
Both. We supply spot volumes for pilot projects and market entry as well as contract volumes – aligned with your demand and logistics.
Proof of origin and sustainability depends on the producer and the delivery. Before contracting, we clarify which evidence is available and required for your application.
In the Fischer-Tropsch pathway (PtL), H₂ and CO or CO₂ form a syngas that is converted into jet fuel. In the Methanol-to-Jet pathway, methanol is produced first and then converted into jet fuel components.
Tell us the product, volume, delivery location and period. We check availability, evidence and logistics and come back with a quote.
