Product Description

r-MEG is obtained as a co-product in chemical PET depolymerisation (methanolysis or glycolysis) alongside r-DMT. It is chemically identical to virgin MEG and can be used as a direct drop-in replacement.

Monoethylene glycol (MEG) is a colourless, nearly odourless, hygroscopic liquid. It is fully miscible with water and is used primarily as antifreeze, coolant and as a monomer for PET.
